Today I sit down with Mike B. Asfall, a well renown and respected high school coach in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area, to hear about his experiences immigrating to the States as a kid from the UK, the differences in appreciation of the sport of soccer and his over 30 years of work committed to growing pathways for black and inner city youth in soccer.  

Xavi Sotomayor (@goodboyshady) is an LA based filmmaker/photographer by trade, having worked with some of the biggest artists and brands in the world, but you wouldn't guess that when you meet him.  More likely you might assume he's in some type of sports management, continuously traversing some field in the Los Angeles area, flanked by players, coaches or influencers in the soccer space and sporting some piece of clothing or accessory branded "IFC" for the Immortals Fútbol Club.  On this episode Xavi explains the inception of the Immortals Project, with what started as an NFT project ballooned into a passion fueled purpose of growing community and helping young athletes achieve their dreams through mentorship, training and personal development.  This episode was extremely motivational for me, if you are interested in uplifting and inspirational conversations this is the episode for you.  TAP IN!
